The project has received the required blasting permit from Halifax Regional Municipality, and preparations are now underway for the next phase of site work.
This stage will involve controlled blasting to advance excavation activities. In advance of blasting, crews will begin drilling into rock surfaces to facilitate both blasting operations and the installation of tie-back anchors. These anchors are critical for stabilizing excavation walls and maintaining site safety as work progresses to deeper levels.
All work will be carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements and established industry best practices, with careful planning to minimize impacts and ensure a safe, controlled work environment.
