Rock anchor installation is now underway at the Skye Halifax site as excavation continues to progress.
The rock anchor system is an engineered shoring solution used to safely support the excavation walls. As crews move deeper into the site, anchors are installed into the surrounding rock to provide stability and support throughout the excavation process.
The work is being completed in stages, with each phase of rock anchor installation coordinated with the excavation sequence. This allows excavation to continue safely and in a controlled manner as construction progresses.
